Notifications

In HaveAI you can follow new messages and account-related alerts from the notification areas. The message notifications at the top right and the Notification Center serve different purposes.

Message Notifications

The bell menu at the top right shows recent customer messages. By clicking a message notification you can open the relevant conversation. When the conversation is opened, the read status of the messages for that customer record is updated.

While the live connection is on, new messages are added to the list. If a notification you expect does not appear, check your connection and notification preferences.

Notification Center

From the bell menu you can open the Notification Center. Here you can review the notifications created for your account, unread records and the statistics provided; you can also adjust preferences related to notification types.

Two different read statuses

The read status in the message list and the read status of alerts in the Notification Center are different records. Marking one screen's records as read does not mean all records on the other screen are cleared.

Notification Types

Depending on your account's features and the relevant conditions, alerts can appear on these topics:

  • New customer messages and conversations that need follow-up.
  • Approaching your usage allowance or reaching the limit.
  • Situations in the security evaluation that require attention.
  • System announcements and other account-related developments.

When you receive a quota alert, check your plan's usage information and the assistant's response status. The usage limit can affect whether automatic answers continue. Also follow customers' pending messages from the Messages section.

Editing Notification Preferences

Check two separate areas:

  1. Settings β†’ General: General email preference, browser notifications, sound and the channel notification options offered.
  2. Notification Center β†’ Preferences: Details related to notification types and delivery options.

For a browser notification, the browser must also grant the site notification permission. If permission was previously blocked, adjust it in the browser settings. With the test option on screen you can check whether the notification appears.

Marking as Read and Deleting

Mark as read marks the notification or the relevant message as read; it does not delete data. Mark all as read applies to the scope of the screen you are on. In the bell menu, this action is applied through the customer records of the listed unread messages.

The delete action offered in the Notification Center, however, removes the notification record. Deleting a notification is not the same as deleting a customer conversation. In bulk actions, check the selected records.
